ABOUT JUSTIN

Ready to Serve Ward 6

DSC02926.jpg

Justin Swallows came to Clarksville in 2006 to attend Austin Peay State University and quickly discovered a city that would shape his life, career, and family. While calling Governors football and basketball games on local television, Justin learned how to connect with people, tell meaningful stories, and build trust, skills that would define his professional path.

After college, Justin built a successful career in sales and local media, learning firsthand the value of relationships, preparation, and follow-through. His work later expanded into philanthropy at Clarksville Academy, national partnerships with JCM Racing and Leatherwood Distillery, and now helping grow Above Standard Building Maintenance locally by working with organizations that value reliability, long-term partnerships, and doing the job right.

Justin’s commitment to Clarksville extends well beyond work. He helped launch the grassroots #KeepTheKats effort to bring the Nashville Kats to Clarksville, turning a small idea into a community-wide movement. He serves on the leadership board at Hilldale United Methodist Church and believes deeply in faith, service, and community.

Justin and his wife, Whitney, an educational leader and Admissions Director at Clarksville Academy, are raising their four-year-old son, Whitten, in downtown Clarksville. They chose Ward 6 because they believe in its potential. Justin believes Ward 6 is a hidden gem, and that real progress comes from bringing people together, supporting smart growth, and leading with clarity, cooperation, and vision. He chose Clarksville not only for what it is, but for what it can be, and now he is ready to help lead it forward.
